Bernama Radio Forger Cooperation With Manis FM

The voices of entrepreneurs in the East Coast can now not only be heard by the locals, but will also reach listeners in the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
This is made possible by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today between the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) and Husa Network Sdn Bhd which will enable bilateral cooperation between two local radio stations under their respective purview.
The cooperation involving Bernama Radio and Manis FM will not only highlight inspiring successful entrepreneurs, but will also open new opportunities to new entrepreneurs especially those who are in the small and medium industry (SMI).
Through the programme dubbed ‘Khabar Pantai Timur’, listeners will get the chance to share their ideas and opinions live on air every Thursday at 7.30am on both radio stations in the 13-episode programme beginning Sept 3, 2020.
Bernama Radio, known as Your Business News Station, is set to be the best platform for entrepreneurs in the East Coast, while Manis FM, which is popular with its ‘East Coast Style’ is capable of attracting younger listeners to learn or even venture into entrepreneurship.
Apart from entrepreneurship, listeners will also be provided with various other information on current issues during the programme.
The MoU was forged following the suggestion by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah to have Manis FM collaborating with Bernama Radio to strengthen the content of its business and entrepreneurship segment.
Apart from producing talkshows, Bernama Radio also provides an opportunity to two Manis FM personnel to undergo training on radio programme production at Wisma Bernama in Kuala Lumpur, while Manis FM will broadcast Bernama Radio’s entrepreneurship programme on its station.
The MoU was inked by Bernama Editor-in-Chief Datuk Mokhtar Hussain and Husa Network Sdn Bhd General Manager Ozarizan Mohd Nor and witnessed by Terengganu Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar in a ceremony held at Wisma Darul Iman, Kuala Terengganu.
Also present were Terengganu Human Development, Dakwah and Information Committee chairman Ustaz Mohd Nor Hamzah, Bernama Deputy Editor-in-Chief Abdul Rahman Ahmad and Husa Network Sdn Bhd Operations Manager Zaid Talib.
