The immense increase in computing power of smartphones has been led by Apple thanks to its stellar line of A Series processors. In gaming there have been the cutting-edge series such as Fortnite, PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends Bang Bang. Yet the excellence has extended to other areas as well, such as health, entertainment and more.

In 2018, Apple Books was reintroduced with a rearranged look trying to make it easier for iPhone and iPad users navigate. Politics dominated the US charts this year with Fire and Fury, Fear and A Higher Loyalty all appearing in the top 10 best-selling nonfiction books. On the fiction front, readers remain rabid for books adapted for the screen, including Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asians and Gillian Flynn’s Sharp Objects.
