Digi and CIMB Collaborate on New Products and Services

Digi and CIMB will be joining hands to create new, more personalized products for their customers. The scope of the partnership covers products and services, as well as preferential offerings.

According to Digi Chief Marketing Officer Loh Keh Jiat, the move will increase competitiveness of their products and allow them to offer more innovative and customised offerings.

“We hope that this partnership will not only further enhance our customers’ experience and but also the start of many more initiatives that will benefit them,” said Loh.

One of the first initiatives to be rolled out is the CIMB Preferred and Digi Postpaid Preferred programme, which is available exclusively for CIMB Preferred Visa INFINITE card holders.

Eligible customers can choose between two flagship smartphone bundles from the Digi Postpaid Preferred Plan: iPhone XS 64GB bundle, or Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung A6+ bundle. The offer ends on 28 February 2019.

The monthly fee is RM288 for a period of 24 months to take either of these smartphone bundles home with zero upfront and advanced payment.

Other benefits include 200GB Internet with unlimited calls, 5GB and 60 minutes of roaming internet and IDD in ten countries. This makes the bundle suitable for those on the move. There are also family inclusive benefits where customers can share internet and calls with up to six additional SIMs and automatically be eligible to be part of the Digi Platinum Reward Tier.

All of this, from selection to payment is run online aaafter which you’ll get your selected smartphone within one to three business days via priority delivery.

If you subscribe for Auto Pay billing, there will be a 5% discount off your total bill amount for six months.

To kickstart the CIMB Preferred and Digi Postpaid Preferred programme, 20 lucky customers will receive a 1-year bill waiver upon participating in the campaign.

Digi has been in the highlights lately, introducing quite a number of new products and services. The telco has just launched the Ibadat app for Android as well as worked with other stakeholders to develop the Digital Learning Hub JomStudi aimed at extending the availability of educational content.
