Illegear has come forward with updates to two of the gaming beasts, the Laguna and Z7. These behemoths now sport Intel Coffee-lake H processors, the Core i7-8750H six-core. The 15.6” LAGUNA and 17.3” Z7 are developed on the Intel HM370 mobile platform, giving them up to 50% boost in power.
According to Illegear, these two are most popular amongst their lineup due to a combination of bold design, premium anodized aluminium material, unrivalled cooling and massive battery capacity.
What’s new in the Laguna and Z7?
The new LAGUNA comes with 144Hz IPS SRGB100% display by default compared to the 60Hz/120Hz IPS SRGB 100% display on the Kabylake LAGUNA with 7th generation i7-7700HQ. On the other hand, the Z7 remains as 60Hz IPS SRGB 100% display as its predecessor. Both models come with 240GB PCIe NVMe SSD by default rather than the previous 120GB SATA SSD, giving them transfer speed more than two time faster than the previous models.
